Below is the Jeep Trip cost break down.  Remember that these costs are
constrasted to the usual $75 -$150/ person per day of the profesional tours.
 Our trip was the richest of the options for the following reasons:

1. We traveled with 3 Mongolians so the dominate culture on our trip was
Mongolian Not USA (3 vs 2).
2. Our driver, cook and guide were experiencing most of our trip for the
first time.  We were all learning together and the excitement of the
discovery of their own country was very interseting for us and a strong
friendship developed.
3. Having a Mongolian woman on the trip (not common) added a nice
perspective and companionship for Nancy.
4. Trusting the team (driver, guide and cook), especially the driver and
vehicle is really important and we were very comfortable and confident of
our team.

Jeep Trip costs summary for 16 days in the bush

1. Our Experience

Jeep/Driver/Cook/Gas  – 1600 miles x $0.75/mile  = $1200
Guide/Translator      - $15/day x 16 days        = $ 240
Food, Activities,Misc - $20/day x 16 days        = $ 320

Total: $1760/16 = $110/day/2 people = $55/day/person

2.Cheaper Option 1: Pay by day for Jeep and not by mile but pay for gas
(most tourists do it this way).

Jeep/Driver          –  $40/day x 16 days       = $640
Guide/Translator     -  $15/day x 16 days       = $240
Food, Activities,Misc-  $20/day x 16 days       = $320
Gas                  -  $15/day x 16 days       = $240

Total: $1440/16  =  $90/day/2people = $45/day/person

3.Even Cheaper Option 2: Pay by day for VAN (Combi holds 7 people) and not
by mile but pay for gas (most tourists do it this way). Get together with 2
other tourists.

Jeep/Driver          –  $50/day x 16 days      = $800
Guide/Translator     -  $15/day x 16 days      = $240
Food, Activities,Misc-  $40/day x 16 days      = $640
Gas                  -  $15/day x 16 days      = $240

Total: $1920/16  =  $120/day/4people = $30/day/person
